What a week it is….I love my homework because I am finding new things but it is definitely a lot of work. I have spent the last three nights up sooo late working with calculations, syntax, and making sure things are entered correctly. It is amazing what one missing number can do!! One number wrong can mess up everything!!!
I am leaving for Austin on Thursday!! I cannot wait!! And I am in the planning stage of going to Charleston!! Wooohoo! I have never been to Charleston but I am looking forward to seeing a new place! You know me I love to visit new things! Austin on Thursday…I hope to see the LBJ Presidential Library, capital buildings, and hopefully find some amazing food
Other than that the week has been alright…definitely a lot of pain! I keep thinking that my flare from the weekend has to end some time soon right??? Flares are soooo draining But the good news is that tomorrow is the last day of work for this week!! YAY! I get a long weekend which will be soo good. I have a lot of homework to do but at least I can enjoy sleeping in late!
I have to work on my literature review for my paper…so that means reading tons of articles. And I have to work on writing up my results for my major project. Plus I need to work on two statistical assignments. Def. not going to be bored. But I am aiming to rest and relax just a little bit.
I hope that your week is going alright, I have heard from many friends over the past few days. Some of my friends have suffered tremendous loss (i.e., loss of a father or spouse), and some have faced major health concerns. Others that I know have struggled, like me, with excruciating pain. The pain is so hard some days, and like many of my friends with RALF have said….it is emotionally, physically, and mentally draining. Waking up with pain, sleeping (barely) with pain, and moving in pain…it just gets so old.
But you know deep down inside we find the strength to get up and face tomorrow. For my friends that I know do this..ya’ll are an encouragement to me!! It helps me know I am not alone in getting up and facing tomorrow, despite the tremendous pain. Granted it is definitely not easy but we do it!
One day I would love to study the inner resilience of those with invisible illnesses, we have a tremendously hard health journey to live but so many of us still keep going despite it all. It would be great to see what warriors have to share and say about their journey. One day right!
Until that day, you get to hear about my journey It is definitely a crazy, up and down, insane, journey! But at the same time, I think that it helps someone (not sure who) who is probably on a walk just like mine. He or she I hope gets some encouragement to finish their education, start their degrees, become a doctor, travel the world, and serve others. That is what I think life is all about…..serving other people!
Randomly I realized today one of my major gifts is to be an encourager! I am great at sending out encouragement to others and I love doing it. The world needs more encouragement for positivity! We have so much negativity…we need way more positivity!
I hope that each and every person who reads this has a great weekend celebrating Independence Day if you are in the United States. If you are not I hope you have a fantastic weekend relaxing, and resting! Enjoy!
